I had this issue with far cry 4. Just turn off windows defender and windows firewall, restart the game and it should be fixed. After you get the game started and well, you should be able to turn it back on. Hope this helps. #2.

Tough logs, impervious to both fire and 2 handers. i found that cave too cant et ineither figure it must be something in later game or fora dlc at a latet point since ive seen things like that before. Apparently you will be able to access it , doing some quest mission .
For example, I've been trying to find Tall Elks for nearly an hour, I've been to multiple hunting locations both in the north and south and I've found exactly 1 of the 5 needed for a crafting upgrade. Another example is the badger - I only see one location on the map, so I went there, found one badger, left and came back and found a second.
In case of the latter approach, avoid standing in the open and hide behind trees to decrease the chances of taking damage. Remember about burning arrows, which can quickly take down the beast. Afterwards, skin the animal and head towards the nearby grotto. As a reward for hunting down the beast, Jayma the Hunter will join your village.
