Effectively, Half Life 2 ends on a cliffhanger, with no proposed closure. I can't think of many peices of art or entertainment that do the same (I can only imagine a David Lynch film). With that in mind, should we review the Half Life 2 series differently? Does it hold a different meaning and provide a different level of satisfaction? Half-Life 2 Classic is a Half-Life mod that aims to recreate Half-Life 2 in the Goldsource engine. Why? Mainly just for fun. A lot of people like how the Goldsource engine feels, or enjoy the gameplay of Half-Life more than it's sequel.
Highest Rated (2 agree) 7/10 I really like this mod because it's the only "HD Half-Life Mod" that is actually good and just adds what it needed, a texture overhaul, and not those out of place realistic 4k pngs people grab from google, just very greatly upscaled image (besides some) which doesn't change anything in a big way.
