After purchasing the car at the dealership I sat in the parking lot with the salesman to setup apple carplay. It worked for a few minutes wirelessly and then didn't work again until we left the dealership.
Yeah I do have the app on my phone. It will connect over bluetooth so I can make calls thru the system and listen to music wirelessly. But the Android auto connection wont pair and it is so frustrating. Thanks for the tip on the usb port - I will see what I can find on that in the settings.
